San Marino iDesign Hotel

San Marino iDesign Hotel allows visitors to experience timeless art and culture within the walls of the modern building, full of light and warmth and is also within 1 km walking distance from the historic centre of San Marino.

I had an amazing stay at San Marino iDesign Hotel. They were so accommodating and helpful, especially for such a last minute stay. iDesign is about a thirty minute walk from the center of San Marino, but it is more like a fifteen minute walk back downhill. 

My room was amazing. Very modern and with a view out over the San Marino / Italian landscape. After resting for a few minutes after my arrival I visited the front desk where I was given tons of great advice on what to see and do in the city center. I was even given a ride up to the city, which was so helpful!

After a long day I got a great night's sleep before waking up early to work on emails. Good news: I had great wifi! After getting ready and checking out of my room, I had a yummy breakfast on the outdoor patio where I met Andrea, who I had corresponded with by emails about my stay. She showed me around more of the hotel, including the roof with amazing views and a really cool rooftop pool that was painted by the hotel owner's friend who is a full time artist (pictured below). He also did many other art works throughout the hotel. 

After the short tour of iDesign Andrea drove me up to town again and walked with me on a sort of mini tour of the city! I really enjoyed talking with her and learning more about San Marino. We walked up to the best views of San Marino, and after an hour or so we made our way back to the hotel.

I was sad to say goodbye to all of the great people that I met at San Marino iDesign Hotel. It was an amazing place to stay, and I cannot recommend it enough!
