Opera Hotel and Spa
Opera Hotel and Spa is a four-star hotel in Riga, Latvia that is conveniently located in the heart of Riga, just a few minutes walk from the Old Town and many other prominent sights in Riga. Housed in a historic building, widely regarded as the pearl of Art Deco architecture and dating back to 1886, the hotel has unique interiors combining the best of modern design with the 19th century style.
I arrived late at night to Opera Hotel and Spa but was greeted warmly and given a great room with windows with a view out on the street below. The room was very nicely furnished and very comfortable. The hotel, as the name implies, has a spa as well which I was unable to use due to time constraints on my trip but it looked amazing!
I got a great nights sleep and really enjoyed the tons of English language television channels. The front desk was very helpful in allowing me to store my luggage and with directions on how to take the bus back to the airport.
The location could not have been more perfect. The walk to the heart of the city was maybe five minutes and was through beautiful parks and historic buildings. I had an amazing stay at Opera Hotel and Spa and cannot thank them enough for making my first stay in Riga amazing!
