Best Western Gobi's Kelso

Best Western Gobi's Kelso in Ulaanbaatar is the very first Best Western hotel in Mongolia. It is conveniently located close to the city center but away from the bustling streets, in a distance of five minutes’ walk to the Central Railway Station. Though the hotel has only fifteen rooms, all rooms, which are all individually designed, offer the ultimate facilities that one would expect from a hotel of this quality. Best Western Gobi's Kelso offers a pleasant base of operations in Ulaanbaatar.

While I unfortunately was not able to stay very long at Best Western Gobi's Kelso, the time that I was able to spend there was quite enjoyable. Located in the heart of Ulaanbaatar it was a quick and easy drive to the airport as well.

After landing in the middle of the night in the freezing Mongolian capital city I was very glad to reach Best Western Gobi's Kelso. Khangarid provided great transportation and when I reached the hotel his wife, Tsolmon checked me in. It was a great little family affair! They were both very kind and I enjoyed talking with them both.

My room was very spacious and very warm. I really enjoyed the comfortable bed and got a great night of sleep even though it was not very long. I had everything that I might need in the room, and really wish that I would have been able to stay longer.

I was packed a small breakfast in the morning which I really appreciated! While I might not have spent a lot of time at Best Western Gobi's Kelso, every minute that I did spend was a warm and inviting one. I can't wait to come back someday when it is, hopefully, a bit warmer!
