Old Bahama Bay
Old Bahama Bay is situated directly on the beach on the western-most tip of Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas and is the ultimate getaway for tranquility, relaxation and friendly service.
Old Bahama Bay was the absolute perfect place to relax. It was about as removed as you can get and still have all of the comforts of an amazing resort. Old Bahama Bay is located about thirty minutes from Freeport, with literally nothing around it. It's truly in the middle of nowhere, and it's amazing!
There is nothing around, but that's fine because you have everything that you could possibly need. The room was huge and, like every room, right on the water. There was an entire kitchen (so be sure to stock up on food at the grocery store on your way to the hotel), a king sized bed, a fold out couch, a giant bathroom, and, best of all, a balcony right on the ocean. The room was very nice, updated, clean, and even had great wifi!
The resort had so much to do that I could have stayed much longer than three days and still been very well occupied. Of course there is the beach, but there were also free kayaks, paddle boards, bikes, shuffle board, corn hole, a restaurant, tiki bar, and much more. My mom was with me and we had loads of fun doing all of the complementary activities!
Everyone at the resort is so kind and welcoming and we had just the best time. The beach was stunning and it truly felt like paradise for a few days. I was able to get so much work done while I was at Old Bahama Bay it was fantastic. There is also so much wildlife around be sure to just take in everything at the resort! If you need a place to stay in the Bahamas, I really don't know why you would go anywhere else when you can be so secluded at such a great resort. I had an amazing stay at Old Bahama Bay!
